Kirby Tradition 3CB Upright Vacuum

This is my Kirby Tradition 3CB that I bought off eBay years ago for pretty cheap in hopes to fix it up and refurbish it. This was in pretty decent condition when I got it with the exception of the metal being oxidized (which it will need a polish eventually), the only thing it needed when I got it was new handle spring fork which I have replaced but I believe I didn't fix it correctly, because any excessive weight can tip the handle over very easily, and it also needed a new brush roll when I got it, which I was able to get a replacement single row brush roll as well as a new belt and now it runs amazing. This has been modified to accept modern Kirby HEPA bags and the way I've accomplished this is taking an emptor piece (where the fill tube connects) from a Heritage 1 that uses the same style emptor, and drilled 2 holes in the Tradition's metal emptor so the Heritage 1 emptor piece can screw into place (surprisingly it does make a good seal when it's all said and done), and using the larger fill tube I can use a newer style fill neck that the Generation series uses (the F Style fill neck can also work if you're modifying this yourself), so now I can run a newer style HEPA bag setup and still retain the same outer bag and emptor setup still keeping the vacuum as original looking as possible. This new bag setup works amazing and for sure woke up the performance of this vacuum, surprisingly this doesn't have any air leaks one bit from doing this conversion, and now it doesn't run like it's starved for air like it used to be with the original bag setup that uses the style 1 singly ply paper bag with very pathetic filtration. This didn't come with any of its attachments or correct hose, I do have one for my Heritage II but it doesn't work with this vacuum since it uses a different style safety switch compared to the Heritage models. It features a 6.0 amp motor with direct air design and now takes S-Style HEPA Bags with Micron Magic filtration (the original bag was a single ply Style 1 bag that had a small fill tube and didn't filter as well as the new setup I've made). The suction is great (especially in tool mode, it's the best on any direct air vacuum I've used to date), the airflow is fantastic (ever since I made the bag conversion, this performs way better than it used to), and the agitation is amazing (pretty impressive for a single row brush roll). My only complaints about this machine is that it's quite heavy (even without having the self propelled transmission like the Generation series, it's still a heavy vacuum), and it's sometimes inconvenient to stop and go to the closet to fetch the attachments (if this example came with any that is). Overall, I really love this vacuum, it definitely has excellent build quality, and in my opinion is better than even the newer Kirby's.
