Wisdom House Year in Review 2020

As we approach the end of 2020 I find myself at a loss for words when trying to encapsulate the feelings I have. Even the publishers of the Oxford English Dictionary have struggled this year as they debated on their annual Word of the Year.

To say “unprecedented” seems too vague to describe what we have seen and experienced in our world this year. However, with all the negativity and uncertainty we have faced, I believe there are many positive lessons learned that will serve for our benefit as we move into the future.

For me, and for Wisdom House, our word to you for this year is “Gratitude”; the two words are “Thank You”. You made it possible for our mission to continue and grow. You changed our lives with new ways of being community. You protected the environment with your financial and moral support. You zoomed us together to learn and sing.

To you, I say a heartfelt Thank You! As we close out this year at Wisdom House we just wanted to remind you of how grateful we are for you and for your continued support. The meaningful moments of growth and connection from this past year would not have been possible if not for you and the pandemic.

We hope you enjoy our 2020 Year in Review video and are encouraged by the sentiments expressed by those featured. Though we faced vastly unexpected circumstances, we found new opportunities, forged new community relationships and dove into new technologies. We find that together, anything is possible.
