I've always preferred to make simple videos on silk painting.In this video I have tried to explain how colors can be blended on fabric with and without water. Chiffon is a see through fabric and very easy to paint. But when you paint, be especially careful not to break your gutta outline.Depending on the thickness of the fabric, the gutta is made thinner or thicker. Chiffon is a thin cloth and there is no need to apply a thick gutta on it.
I used seta silk paints in this video and marabu transparent gutta with .9mm nozzle.
When you apply the gutta on the fabric then let it dry. The temperature of each area is different. Allow the gutta to dry according to the temperature of your area. When the gutta dries, start painting your chiffon silk.
Materials i used:
1-Chiffon 60g size 18"x18"
2-Seta silk paints (local brand)
3-Marabu transparent gutta
4-Gutta nozzle .9mm
5-Fabric marker (rozita,local brand)
6-Thumb tags
7-Brushes round and flat
8-Water
