GMAT 700 and Manchester MBA experience | Akash’s journey!

Looking to build on his seven-year career in sales and business development, Akash completed his GMAT prep and MBA applications over a seven-month span to get a GMAT 700 and admits to the Schulich and Manchester MBAs respectively.

Akash talks about how Indian applicants often end up focusing on Verbal too much while preparing for the GMAT, and advises them to study for Quant too in equal measure, to maximize their chances of scoring well. Regarding the application process itself, Akash stresses having a good two to three months in hand to work on crafting truly authentic essays.

Sharing his experience with the MBA job hunt in the UK, Akash says that your network will be the means to finding you a good job, and that the keys to growth in the MBA are outreach, outreach, and more outreach!
