Xiaomi 15 Pro renders are here and they give us our first look at the design of the phone. The phone is rumored to launch in China by the end of October and will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SOC.

Last year in October, we got the Xiaomi 14 & Xiaomi 14 Pro with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and impressive cameras. The Xiaomi 14 Pro was the more expensive of the two, featuring a quad-curved display, 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, an IP68 rating, a variable aperture lens for the primary camera, and more. The phone was launched in China for a starting price of ¥4999 (~$700). The brand is now all set to unveil the Xiaomi 15 series in the Chinese market, and as per rumors, the launch in China is scheduled for October 20.
Today, the renders of the Xiaomi 15 Pro surfaced online, giving us our first look at the design. The renders were shared by SmartPrix.
As we can see, the main design change this year is on the rear. The camera module design is almost similar to the Xiaomi 14 series, but this year, the LED flash has been moved outside the camera module. The camera module is made of ceramic. The phone will launch in three colors – Silver, Black, and White. There will also be a special “Titanium” edition, which we had with the Xiaomi 14 Pro as well.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is launching with a 6.78-inch quad-curved AMOLED display by TCL with a Quad-HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The SOC is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and there is 16GB RAM with up to 1TB storage.
The cameras are one of the highlights of Xiaomi’s flagship phones, and the Xiaomi 15 Pro is no exception. The primary rear camera has a 1/1.3″ 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor with an f/1.4 aperture and OIS. The ultrawide camera uses a 50MP sensor, and there is a third periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP sensor. For comparison, the Xiaomi 14 Pro had a normal telephoto camera with up to 3.2x optical zoom.
It is also reported that the phone features a massive 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. This would be a massive upgrade over the 4,880mAh battery in the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro was not launched outside China, but we expect the Xiaomi 15 Pro to make its way outside the Chinese market.
