X4 Foundations: Testing 40 Kukri with heavy cluster missiles vs 1 xenon K

Hello everybody,

As some of you that follow my channel know, I'm a race tech purist, split tech for split ships, argon for argon and so on.
One of my bigest regret is, that in the case of the terrans, I must make my ONLY exception to that rule, and use torpedo tech for bombers, in order to provide the terrans with their own anti capitals solution for AI controled forces, as it is obvious, that destroyers are not it.
As I was saying, the terrans don't have torpedo launchers (even tho they have torpedoes (!?)), but they do have missile launchers, and they have heavy cluster missiles, with an optimist detonation output of 12.141 MJ.
My fighter of choise for my Tokyos is the heavy Kalis, but it would look wierd with 1 proton barage in one slot and missile launcher in another, so for this test I've chosen the flimsier Kukri, as its 3 weapon slots, 2 proton on one side and the launcher on the other, make it look more acceptable and preserve some fire power, in case it needs to protect it self from enemy interceptors.

Anyway, this the test, 40 Kukri as bombers against 1 xenon K.

Conclusions:
- it works, tho a lot slower that using torpedoes. That is a problem for me, as I take my Aux ship with the main fleet, and to protect the aux ship from xenon capital ship ambushes, is the reason I use torpedo bombers, to take out atacking xenon K and I, before they inflict too much dmg on the aux.
- heavy cluster, unfortunaly, its a dumbfire missile, so many shots will miss, AI pilots aiming being what it is. Also, the pilots are mostly 3 stars, because I retrofited a interceptor wing for the test, so the aiming shown in the clip is as best as they can muster.

For my next test, I will send the wing against a xenon I. I can only hope that the aiming will be better in the case of the I, as it is a much harder target to miss, but I don't get my hopes up.
