World Action Pistol Championship - Falling Plate Event

U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Soldiers with the Service Pistol Team competed in the 2018 World Action Pistol Championships in Columbia, Missouri May 19-20, 2018. Over 170 shooting sport athletes from eight countries and 33 states competed for world division and category titles. After two days and four events, Sgt. 1st Class Lawrence Cleveland took the Silver Medal in the Metallic Division while Sgt. 1st Class Adam Sokolowski did the same in the Open Division. And Sgt. 1st Class Patrick Franks seized the Gold Medal Champion title in the Production Division. This video shows a little bit of the action from the Falling Plate Event where competitors fire 48 rounds at 8" plates in timed series from 10, 15, 20, and 25-yard distances.
