I think it was 2015. Biswa had just released his nail cutter bit, and I was in awe. I had seen live stand-up before, but this was something else! Poore IIT Madras me jo mila usey maine ye video recommend kiya. I used to write jokes back then, but on that day I realized the power of standup! Ache joke ko mic mil jaaye toh jaadoo ho jaata hai.

Years later, here I am with lots of jokes and a mic, releasing my bit. A bit I worked for years. A bit I love to not let go. A bit I am releasing with atmost honesty and hard work.

A little about me:
I am Manish Jain. I belong to Ahmedabad, studied Computer Science in Anand, and then IIT Madras. I started doing Hindi stand-up comedy in Bangalore. Since then, I got a lot of help from Bangalore Comedy Scene in building my material. I also have been extremely fortunate to open shows for a lot of popular comedians, namely, Sapan Verma, Rajat Chauhan, Harsh Gujral, Amit Tandon, Sorabh Pant, Devesh Dixit, Gaurav Gupta, Ramya Rampriya, Atul Khatri, Chirag Panjwani, Punya Arora, etc. These days, I am regularly spotted doing jokes at Ministry of Comedy (Koramangala) on weekends.

In this video, I talk about how Indians love doing random mental calculations. I talk about people going in lifts, death ceremonies, Britishers, JNU, Amazon, Duckworth-Lewis, Bachelors, Calculators, Keyboards, and most importantly, Saif Ali Khan.
