Playing like imposters dressed in blue-and-white for the entire first half last Saturday vs. Bowling Green, Penn State's heralded defense was completely out of sorts. Through the contest's initial 30 minutes, defensive coordinator Tom Allen's star-studded unit surrendered 24 points and more than 250 yards of total offense. Then, in the second half, the script flipped.
