(Video 11 of 14) This series of short Excel videos teaches beginners how to modify cell content easily. To change what's in a cell, you just need to click on it and type the new information, which replaces the old content. If the cell has only a few characters, typing new data works best. To edit a cell, you can either double-click it, press F2, or click the Formula bar. When you're editing, you can add, delete, and select characters. You can also set options like moving to the next cell after entering data. To enter the same info in multiple cells, select them and press Ctrl+Enter. There's a mode change shortcut with F2, and you can set Excel to automatically add decimal points.
