Laser welding is based on high-intensity light focused on the desired area, which physically melts two materials together to form a bond between them. Such method provides ultimately precise heat input on desired area with close to zero welding oxidation.

This process can be used in both hand-held precise and large-scale automated workshops, allowing welding speed of 1-5m/min. In automated workshops welding can be contactless process.

Although such technology is mostly used to join metals like stainless-steel, silver or aluminum, it can also process other type of materials such as plastics and silicone.
