CNBC & Fox Today On NVIDIA Stock, DeepSeek, Rubin - NVDA Update

Hosts of CNBC and Fox Business each discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), as well as recent NVIDIA news. Overnight, the Financial Times reported that DeepSeek tried developing its new R2 model using Huawei chips, in an attempt to not rely on NVIDIA's chips. According to the FT, the launch of R2 is now delayed. If correct, this story underscores the importance of NVIDIA's moat around software and the importance of NVIDIA's CUDA. Additionally, everyone is still grappling with the idea of the US taking 15% of NVIDIA and AMD's China revenue. AI demand continues to be extremely strong, and all of NVIDIA's largest customers increased their CapEx guidance this earnings season. Looking ahead, we have NVIDIA earnings on August 27, and then after that we have NVIDIA GTC in Washington DC, with a keynote from Jensen Huang on October 28. Here's where things stand as of right now with NVIDIA: Blackwell Ultra has launched and production should ramp substantially in September. Then next year in 2026, we have NVIDIA's Vera Rubin. The Vera CPU will be NVIDIA's first custom CPU, consisting of 88 NVIDIA Olympus cores, custom-designed to work in lockstep with NVIDIA GPUs. Jensen Huang believes that the world's computing CapEx will reach $1 trillion annually by 2030; meaning he is expecting an expanding TAM over the next 4.5 years.
