Period 1/2 morocco, spine gilt lettered, raised bands, compartments with embossed devices, boards gilt ruled, marbled end papers, rare publishers detailed index to contents and illustrations bound in for each.

Initially issued monthly, here bound afterwards for sale as a deluxe annual collectors volume. Like for most periodicals of this era, few examples of any specific issue or year survive. This desirable year and binding rare thus, unique survival.

Bindings remains sound, tight and well preserved. Contents clean.
