Описание к видео Vilsevind - Dacw 'Nghariad - Welsh Folk Song

Dacw 'Nghariad is a Welsh folk song that belongs to the folk poetry corpus known as hen benillion (the old verses). Though it was collected in 1908 from the singing of Cardiffian Mary Davies, she manifested having heard it first as a child in Llangammach Wells in 1828. A fair had come to town, and a man named David Evans was singing this beautiful song, which he in turn had learned from the singing of famous travelling bard and tailor Thomas Elias, Y Bardd Coch (The Red Bard).

Recorded and filmed live at Estudio Satori by Alejo Nobili. Assisted by Eliana de Piero.
