Now six or seven years ago I set out on the road
I had four wheels and shining steel and everything I owned
She pulled her weight and then some in spite of all I done
We saw the good times and the bad times and had a lot of fun

There’s no need to take it personally I didn’t mean her any harm
They say a man is bound to make a few mistakes
But a right turn at the wrong time it musta been fate
