Fun fact: Argentavis Magnificens is the heaviest flying bird to ever live, weighing up to 159 pounds. It was too heavy to simply take off by jumping and flapping its wings like a small bird, so it had to run downhill or jump off a cliff to fly. It had a wingspan of 6 to 7 meters.
