Pretty much from the instant the Phase Four lineup was announced, we’ve been trying to guess what this could mean for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We know this company likes to keep us guessing, but there are some assumptions that seem reasonable to make about the direction the MCU is going in. We love wild and wacky ideas as much as the next person, but today, we’re going to take a look at the ones that seem the most plausible. In the comic books, Fu Manchu is the father of Shang-Chi, but will The Legend of the Ten Rings have another character fulfill that role? Of course, we’re excited about seeing some immortals join the cast, but the Eternals movie could also teach us about the Celestials and how they may help bring mutants into the MCU. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will feature Scarlet Witch and could explain how we get a late hero back for WandaVision. It could also include some interesting bits from the popular House of M storyline.
