Turkey is one of the smartest places to launch your company right now! Turkey offers low startup costs, full foreign ownership and investment incentives.

The first thing you need to do is decide on the type of company you will
open. As a foreigner the most common company type in Turkey is the
Limited Liability Company. The minimum share capital for this type of company is 10.000 turkish lira. What’s great is that you don’t have to make
a prepayment, you can pay it in 2 years.

Incorporation takes 3-4 days for individual shareholders and 7-8 days for
legal entity shareholders. The corporate tax rate for most companies in
25%. The VAT is 20%, however for certain foods and services it is 10% or
even 1%.
After you decide on the type of company, you need to reserve a trade name
for it. Once you reserve your name, you will need to file your documents to
the Turkish Trade Register. The list of documents is up on our website. I left

The next thing you need to do is open the company’s bank account. This is
where the share capital will be deposited. The last step is filing the
incorporation documents and obtaining the tax identification number and
the VAT number. Once you have these in place, your business will be fully
ready to start operating.
Remember: In Turkey you can incorporate a brand new company, a branch
