Описание к видео 1973 Sony TA-1150 Amplifier & ST-5150 Receiver - A Closer Look & Overview. Retfurb Retro Audio

In this video we take a closer look at the 1973 Sony TA-1150 amplifier & ST-5150 receiver. An overview of the sound and aesthetics.

They were both available from 1973 through to 1976. The amplifier is a solid state unit, With various operational transistors. It has a lot going on inside, Producing the sound that it does.
It is a fairly modest 30 watts output per channel. But is still more than capable of filling a decent size room, with more than enough sound.
I barely crank mine up more than half way in my living room.
The receiver is analogue being from this era, But still tunes in the radio stations with ease.

These units are both in my collection and they are in regularly use. Each time I power them up, I truly appreciate the great sound they produce.

In 1973 the amplifier was top of the line, for Sony units.
