Ketelaars 3D Terra in Motion | Horology By The Sea

Presenting a fantastic "3D Terra in Motion" from the talented Dutch watchmaker, Stefan Ketelaars. As we see from time to time with newer Independent Watchmakers on the scene, it is evident to me Stefan is offering his customers exceptional value and creativity at very modest pricing.

For this watch, Stefan hand engraved and lacquered a three dimensional globe that makes one full rotation per day. The hours and minute hands are offset in a 3 o'clock subdial and provide an excellent view of the wheelwork below.

Reverse side we see a hearty amount of anglage on custom frosted bridges fastened with black polished screws. Stefan shaped the bridges in an interesting way so that balance cock appears far removed from the others and perfectly showcases the polished Swan's Neck Regulator. The countersinks are also beautifully polished to showcase the large rubies of the Unitas 6497 caliber.

Stainless steel case is in excellent condition and measures 42.5mm x 14.3mm (including sapphire box crystal) x 51mm lug-to-lug. Complete with Box and Papers dated September 2022.
