It's the moment we've all been waiting for! We're finally throwing the big block OBS Chevy 454ss back on the dyno! You saw us install all of our RPM Power Package parts that we got from JEGs. You watched us get our QA1 suspension installed and our Sniper EFI system set up. The only thing left to do is rip it now... right?

Well, we thought so too! But unfortunately, this truck had some other plans. On our first test drive of our newly cammed 454 shop truck we absolutely smoked the rear diff. It may have had something to do with that fact that someone forgot to put any fluid in it (we're not going to name any names). But instead of making mountains out of molehills, we decided to use this as an opportunity to upgrade our rear end to a beefier Eaton True Track set up. So while we waited for our new differential to come, it was the perfect opportunity to work on some cosmetic details of this truck.

We brought Brian from Poppy's Patina all the way out from Oklahoma to help us spray some bed liner down in the back of this truck. And while we had it all disassembled, he suggested to throw a thick coat of some Poppy's urethane clear coating to help preserve the rustic spirit of this truck for years to come. We even went the extra step and had Cassio from Boca Cermaic Coating come out and polish the truck to really make her shine!

By the time the buffing and shining was being wrapped up Andrew had our rear end all reassembled and we could head to Blow By Racing and hit the dyno! We made some awesome numbers with this little slug of an OBS shop truck, and we were so excited that we... well... you'll see!
