The first SaGa game was a radical JRPG experiment. Let's look at how its successor built on that formula to create a new series.

Final Fantasy Legend II, also known as SaGa 2, was developed by Square for the Game Boy. First released in Japan as SaGa 2: Hihou Densetsu ("Legend of the Secret Treasure") in 1990, it received a Western release in 1991 under the Final Fantasy brand.
