The NEW Starkey Evolv AI Hearing Aid Review. Is it the Best Hearing Aid 2023?

Of all the major hearing aid brands, Starkey is perhaps the most holistic in its approach to hearing healthcare. With its latest hearing aids, Evolv AI, Starkey aims to not just treat hearing loss, but also provide tools to help the user meet their individual goals for both physical activity and social interaction.

Evolv AI, like its predecessor (Livio AI), incorporates motion sensors which can track your hearing aid usage and physical movement and can also help detect falls and even alert your selected contacts to a fall. There are also numerous other features built-in to the product itself or incorporated into its smart phone app such as available language translation and remote hearing care.

According to the company, Starkey’s goal with Evolv AI was to provide an “always on and always automatic” hearing instrument that emphasizes both hearing health as well as overall wellness. The devices are said to perform 55 million automatic adjustments per hour.

While I admire Starkey's approach to hearing healthcare, there are some notable drawbacks to the Evolv AI, which I detail in the video. I also cover the various form factors and differences between the 1200, 1600, 2000, and 2400 technology levels (the higher the number, the more advanced / costly), so tune if if you're trying to decide which exact model is right for you.
