As written on the back cover "ALLEGRO by Gioseffo Hectore Fiocco (1703-1741): This distinguished harpsichord player and conductor of a court band in Brussels wrote "Pieces de Clavecin" which were published in 1730. This Allegro is taken from these pieces and also has become quite widely used as a violin solo."
