If it cannot be determined which player delivered out of proper rotation, the player who delivered the first stone in the end for that team delivers the last stone for that team
in that end."

INJURY WATCH FOR USA

Shuster’s team had a 7-4 record heading into the final game of the round robin against Norway but had wrapped up a playoff spot and had high hopes of doing some damage through the quarter-finals on Saturday.

If they get there, it will be worth keeping an eye on the health of lead John Landsteiner, who had to leave Friday’s game because of a flare-up of an elbow injury.

Shuster said the decision to bring alternate [Korey] Dropkin into the game was just precautionary, but Landsteiner has been dealing with the injury for a while.

“He was fine,” Shuster said. “He had a little bit of an elbow flare-up at our national championship and toward the end of the week it got pretty bad. So, during this game, it was the first time he had pain all week. We just thought that maybe resting him for the rest of this game might allow him to be as fresh and ready to go in the playoffs as possible.”
