Sundstraumen is just next to Saltstraumen (the Salt stream) and both are home to some of the strongest tidal currents in the world due to the narrow inlets to the large fjord basin. This dive site is characterised by ravines and walls covered in beautiful soft corals. Just glide with the current and enjoy the colourful and extraordinary beauty around you! Scuba diving here requires careful planning based on the tide tables and time of month and schould only be done accompanied by an experienced guide. Filmed end of July, 2024.
