Should you join TCS iGnite?
Everything has its bright side and flip side. Advantages don't make it necessarily good and vice versa. They are just part of the balance. In this video Should you join TCS I am going to present you in its simplest form about the pros and cons of TCS iGnite.

I've tried to be neutral and give you deep yet crisp insight on the TCS iGnite program.
Here are the pros of joining TCS iGnite
Pros
-Great opportunity for Science graduates: It is very rare that opportunities are given to science graduates like B.Sc. (Maths/ Chemistry/ Computer Science / IT / Physics/ Statistics) or BCA/BCS.

-The huge learning curve and opportunity to switch: During the training, you’ll learn coding, quantitative aptitude and business communications which will act as your base for your IT career. You’ll always have the opportunity to learn and obviously switch.

-Introduction to IT under Big Tata brand: which will add a very significant impact on your resume.

-Option to go for MCA: If you've higher studies in mind you can always opt for the integrated master's program offered by TCS and Sastra university collectively. Upon the MCA completion, you'll also get a salary hike but the only problem with this program is you've to stay in TCS for till your MCA gets completed.


Cons

-Salary is comparatively low (~12k): You will have to manage your expenses with a tight hand or otherwise you might end up asking you guardians for financial support which not a very comfortable situation

-Chennai is the only city where training takes place: So be ready to be in a foreign place and flexible enough to accommodate the cultural differences.
