Players learning the game really need to watch this video about how to play after the glass. These are probably the "most repeated" pieces of advice I give as a coach!

The glass is usually a foreign element for any players starting padel and if you do not hit these shots with the correct technique it means the more difficult shots are more than likely to be incorrect.

1. Racket Back - this leads the movement and must be back to avoid a rushed swing after the rebound.
2. Contact - just infront of the body. To achieve this the player must move their feet into the right position (which often involves a backward initial step).
3. Shot Selection - choose the shot according to how high the ball bounces off the back glass, the "traffic light" method can help you select the right ball.
