From my first CD, ʻCoconut Hat, this song was inspired by the beautiful sunsets of upcountry Maui and the paniolo (Hawaiian cowboys) of the ʻUlupalakua Ranch. This is dedicated to my dear friend and kumu, Ried Kapo Ku who was particularly fond of this mele. Played in the C major tuning, lowered to ʻB" on a Taylor 514CE guitar, audio and video recorded with my iPhone 11 Pro
