Drouet 72 Studies No 11

Описание к видео Drouet 72 Studies No 11

Louis Drouet (1792 - 1893) was a self taught flutist until the age of seven, when he entered the Conservetoire de Paris. Wikipedia tells us he was teaching by the age of 16.

These etudes are entitled "72 Studies on Taste & Style Composed Expressly for the BOEHM Flute. The Boehm flute was developed around 1847.

These etudes start out as grade 1.5, and quickly graduate to grade 2. By about number 50, their technical demands are quite a bit more challenging. There are beautifully melodic etudes, simple technical scale etudes, studies for double tonguing, finger twisters, and quite a few that develop the flutist's ornamentation skills.

This etude book is copyright free, and is available from FluteTunes https://www.flutetunes.com/tunes.php?...
