Hi everyone welcome back to the channel,

In this video a military exercise was being conducted on the Jurassic coast in Dorset,
a Chinook landed and carried out a hot refuel this is used in order to save time hence the name hot refuel.
just after it had been refuelled a pigeon flew into the rear blades and exploded I didn't have the camera on as was saving battery, (Damn) after they shut down the crew carried out an inspection to find parts of the bird in the filter,

They had to call a team from Royal Air Force Benson to drop tools and Techs to fix the problem so they could take off!

the inbound chinook sounded awesome on approach was defiantly not hanging around.

when the problem was resolved they took off and the pilot put on a display with a fast low approach absolutely EPIC!!!!

I miss the times i got to fly on these amazing machines when I served in Afghanistan! great bits of kit.
