🍀Lauki ki Kheer🍀
Ingredients:
Lauki (bottle gourd):2 cup (grated)
Milk: 1.25liter (full cream)
Sugar: 1/2 cup (adjust as per taste)
Cardamom powder: 1/2 teaspoon
Dry fruits (cashews, almonds, pistachios): 2 tablespoons (chopped)
Raisins: 1 tablespoon (optional)
Sago dana( soaked) 1/2 cup
Instructions:
Peel the lauki and grate it. Remove seeds if it's mature.
In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring the milk to a boil.
Add the lauki and sago dana to the boiling milk.
Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes until the lauki is fully cooked and the kheer thickens.
Add sugar and stir well until it dissolves.
Add cardamom powder and mix. Cook for mor 5 min to adjust consistency
add chopped dry fruits and raisins. Save some for garnishing.
Turn off the heat and let the kheer cool slightly.
Serve warm or chilled, garnished with dry fruits. ENJOY🥰
