Happy 20th Anniversary, Pokémon! I never really played the OG games as much as G/S/C or R/S/E, but they were certainly an innovation and surely they were the base inspiration for all the other Pokémon games that came out in these 20 years!
This song was challenging enough because it's basically an endless loop of this catchy 15 second melody, so I tried making it my own version, with a "solo", a clean intro and, of course, key changes! :D
Let me know what you think about this video, especially the tones, since I am forever searching for my perfect ones. This week I went back to Bias FX for the Bass (welcome back, my fretless love!) and the awesome TSE x50 for the Guitars. Also tried new mastering plugins (some Tube Saturation here and there along with the usual iZotope 5 suite), sounds nice!
For drums I might go back to SD2, since the ones I am using, MT PowerDrumKit, feels kinda limited and can't achieve quite the perfect sound for me!

See you next week with a cover of a game which has only a cappella tracks for its soundtrack! Seems fun! :)
