Composer plays the drums - Cotopaxi (Theme) by Mark Van Overmeire

A few years ago I started drumming again after a hiatus of 20 years. I have a Yamaha DTX8K electronic drum kit and it has been a wonderful outlet. The drum kit is used together with Superior Drummer 3.

I always wanted to have a video of myself playing the drums on a track of my debut album "Impresiones", which was released in 2003, and thanks to the amazing development in technology this is now possible.

In this video I play the drums on the theme section of Cotopaxi. The original recording features a beautiful improvisational section which I might record on another video,
