Today’s topic is focused on keeping up to speed with your growing smart home by introducing consistent naming conventions. Yes, when you have 5-10-20 things to manage it is not as big of an issue. But as soon as you are past 50 you will be struggling. This is especially true with Home Assistant where you create automations, scenes, scripts, helpers and other incremental entity types to help manage your home.Whilst we will focus on Home Assistant, similar logic will apply to Apple Homekit.
