A mom’s moving sendoff for her son going to college captured hearts online, with a video of the moment racking up tens of millions of views and thousands of heartfelt comments in less than 10 days.

Illinois teenager Ben Szram captured video as he came across a surprise scene his mom created for him - similar to a famous tear-jerking moment in Toy Story 3, where the character Andy’s toys watch him drive away.

“What I captured was the moment my mom surprised me with all my childhood toys, saying one last goodbye to me before I left for college,” he told Storyful.

“I was in shock. Like, it was so shocking, because I had forgotten that those teddy bears had even existed, and so, seeing them and my mom telling the stories behind it and even seeing the pictures with me and those teddy bears, it was a lot…in a good way,” the 18-year-old told ABC News.
