What can I say ? Chalk another one off the Bucket List !

About 7 years ago while docked in Imperia we managed to organize a few days off and randomly headed to Siena. Little did we know we had just wandered into one of the oldest and most unique Horse Races in the World and one of the biggest parties of the year. Up until this moment I had never heard of the Palio Horse Race.

7 years and 5 visits later I finally got to experience this spectacle track side. I will say that I did pay handsomely for my balcony seat but we did have access to a bathroom and cold beer so everything doe's balance out.
