Real estate wholesalers may get a pretty bad rap. In reality, many upstanding wholesalers are running professional businesses. On the flip side, there are also inexperienced or blatantly malicious wholesalers looking to take advantage of rookie investors. So, how do you know whether or not a wholesale real estate deal is legit?

Ashley and Tony have both used wholesalers in the past and have gotten on many different wholesale lists. They know what it looks like when a wholesaler is inflating numbers or simply trying to lie their way into a deal. There are a handful of ways to fact-check a deal, ranging from using an attorney, to looking up county records, and contacting past clients. But, it may be best to outreach to wholesalers yourself so YOU can pick the deal flow.
