After reforming Eater for the Holidays In The Sun Festival of 1996, we decided to do a couple of other shows, one of which, the Dublin castle, is included here. Besides Brian Chevette and myself, the rhythm section of the band were made up of my 'other' band members - Steve 'O Shea and Graham Best (aka Reg Urgitate), who did a great job. Although I never played guitar during Eater's heyday, I did prior to 1977, and it just felt right for 1997. I think Brian's guitar and mine work well together.

When we were filming the interview and book reading for this release I bumped into Don Letts who was coincidentally working at the same studio in London. It was great to see him after all those years and he agreed to introduce the film. Okay, it's a shame that what follows his intro isn't a blistering live set from 1977 with pigs heads and entrails, but I don't think it matters.

This document of our reunion is important because it'll probably never happen again . I remember, at the time, thinking how great it was to play the songs once more. I'm glad this moment was captured on film. I hope you'll agree.
