The third guest speaker of the XR Initiative’s Immersive Show & Tell is Bowen Tan, who presents his XR Archives featuring Brighton’s Independent Businesses in this video.

Bowen Tan is the Programme Director of Tell Me Lemon, an extended reality company that applies cutting-edge technology to help businesses enhance their public profile and performance. He has collaborated successfully not only with major organisations such as the Sussex Business Show and the University of Sussex, but also with outstanding Brighton-based independent businesses, including Puzzle Bored and Simon Webster Hair.

In his presentation, Bowen demonstrates how he has adapted VR illustration technologies into a range of final products designed to support the goals of Brighton’s independent businesses. He also shares his insights into why Brighton’s independent business community remains so resilient compared with other UK cities, drawing on his observations during the creation of the XR Archives. Additionally, Bowen outlines his future plans for the XR Archives project, explaining how it will continue to benefit local enterprises in new and innovative ways.
