Описание к видео Sopwith Pup Test Hops & Flights, Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome, Sep. 3, 2019

Full ground to air video of the test hops and test flights of Dick King's Sopwith Pup. It was first built in 1967 and flew at Old Rhinebeck until 1982, when Dick sold it to the Owls Head Museum in Maine. It was acquired by Brian Coughlin and restored between 2017 and 2018. Mark Mondello and Ken Cassens completed the work to get it flying in 2019. Clay Hammond was the test pilot and he reported that it flew very well. Dick's son Matt was on hand to observe the flights, which made the day extra special. The Pup will be featured regularly in the WWI Sunday airshows at Old Rhinebeck.
