Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo (born May 26, 1972), better known professionally as Ahmad Dhani, is an Indonesian musician, politician, and businessman . He is the founder and leader of the music group Dewa 19 which is one of the biggest bands throughout the 1990s and 2000s. Apart from performing as keyboardist and additional vocalist for the group, Dhani is also the producer and composer of most of its songs. After the success with Dewa 19, he also succeeded in creating many singers and music groups and is the founder and leader of Republic of Love Management. Throughout his career, Dhani has created more than 200 songs which have been sung by various artists such as Reza Artamevia, Anang Hermansyah, Denada, Chrisye, Agnes Monica, Ratu, Mulan Jameela, and others.
