HT550, Scotland's ultimate MTB adventure? | PART ONE

Join me and fellow Enduro racer turned bike packing legend Joe Nation as the HT550 takes us through 550miles of Scottish wilderness. With surprises around every corner join us as we discover some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Scotland.

This was my first ever bike packing mission, and what a start! We stayed in hotels or b&b's each night which meant warm showers, and time to dry out, warm up and get some proper food in us. With the rest of the race season ahead of me it was important for me to recover well. Joe was fresh off a 3rd place at the world renowned hardest off road bike packing race the Tour Divide - he smashed it to third place. So thankfully he wasn't able for his race pace and we could go at my 'chill' pace. Haha!
