Composer Ng Sze Min never had a chance to get to know her late grandparents. And so she attempts to reconnect with them the best way she knows how - through sound. Using archives and the collective memories of the people who used to live near them, Sze Min pieces together the tapestry of sounds that her grandparents might have experienced in the 1950s, when they were just beginning their lives as a young, married couple in Singapore.

From the whirring of trolley buses that her grandpa might have commuted on, to the clacking of abacus in the stores her grandma might have shopped at, to the dramatic radio plays they might have listened to before bedtime, Sze Min discovers details about the life of her grandparents she never knew before.
