What started out on November 30, 2018 as a night of happiness with The Smith family, from Baltimore, Maryland would not be how its ends. It was Valeria Smith her father, Keith, and step-mother, Jacquelyn,

The family decided to go over to the American Legion Hall to celebrate. While there, they ate, drank, danced and took some photos. When the family exited the legion just before midnight, no one would have predicted what was about to be a deadly turn of events.

A few blocks from Valeria’s home, Keith slowed the car to a stop and rolled down the passenger window. Jacquelyn wanted to help by giving money to a mother who was out on the street, carrying a small bundle in her arms as well as a sign that read: “please help me feed my baby” …
