How to make a Monte Carlo Cocktail. This is my favorite Old Fashioned variation during the Christmas season. A Great Rye Whiskey Cocktail. This is because the Bénédictine liqueur adds a wonderful Christmas aroma and taste with its many herbs and spices. Notes such as pine, nutmeg, cinnamon etc... can be found in this liqueur. It's fantastic!

2 oz Rye Whisky
1/2 oz Bénédictine
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
2 dashes Cardamom Bitters
