Former Australian fast bowler, Jason Gillespie, has turned down the opportunity to take on the full-time coaching role for Pakistan's white-ball team. Speaking to Australian media, Gillespie clarified that while he enjoyed coaching in the past, he was not interested in committing to a long-term role with Pakistan’s limited-overs setup. He expressed his preference to continue coaching in the red-ball format, citing the need for more time with his family and concerns about the mental and physical demands of being away for extended periods. Gillespie was temporarily appointed as the white-ball coach for Pakistan during their tour of Australia following Gary Kirsten's resignation.
