Step by step explanation for how to simply mass float flowers(and by extension any item) and rotate them afterwards

Along with an educated guess as to how floating works exactly to help get your mind around it
tl;dr the floor after pressing a number key is the item no longer following the cursor and items have to store 2 sets of coordinates, basically locking the cursor coords while not updating the permanent coords, hence why it's called 'ghosting'

Basically when you go to place an item it spawns in the actual item and locks it to the cursor, performing checks what-have-you whether the item can be placed, lets call the cursor coordinate parameters CX CY CZ, then when you place the item it also has a set of permanent X Y Z coordinates. But when you place the item the XYZ coords get set, but if you pick it up and you select any number key the items CX CY CZ coordinates supersede the XYZ coordinates because the item needs to be locked to the cursor and cancelling will return it to XYZ, the number key unlocks the item from following the cursor, for all intents and purposes 'placing' the item BUT the XYZ coordinates don't get updated, so when you place other items on those items XYZ coords use the floor items CX CY CZ coordinates, meaning when you then update the floor's XYZ, the floated items still use the previous CXYZ
