My conscience does not permit me
to be a member of a denomination
which has been unable to avoid
that countless of its representatives and members
often in the name of or with the pretended approval
of a 'benevolent' god, over centuries...
made their fellow human beings docile towards the opressors and rich for all the suffering on this world by promising them recompense in heaven *
exploited their fellow humans mercilessly without respect for their health, well-being and life *
intimidated and terrified their fellow human beings by alluding to the cruel sufferings of hell and purgatory *
kept their fellow humans away from the findings of science, well-aware that knowing people would realize their rights and demand them *
made their fellow human beings choose to either, while starving, beget children who'd be damned to starvation, or to abstain from love between man and woman *
forced their fellow humans to go to war, with consecrated weapons, in the interest of the rulers and powerful, and murder millions of innocents *
subdued, banished, dispossessed, hounded, abused or tortured their fellow human beings if they were of different opinion in religious, societal, cultural or scientific matters and would not abjure their opinion *

to quarter them with hatchets
to obliterate them with bombs
to incinerate them in fires
to hang them on gallows
to flog them to death with scourges
to shoot them with guns
to exterminate them with poison
to tear them to tatters with grenades
to abandon them to starvation
to massacre them with cannons
to impale them on lances
to brick them in, still alive
to mow then down with machineguns
to stab them with knives
to douse them with napalm
to crush them with tanks
to slay them with arrows
to pick them off with pistols
to break them on the wheel
to decapitate them on the scaffold
to behead them with swords
to batter them to death with stones
to strangle them with ropes
to slaughter them like animals
to turture them to death
to drown them in water
and too murder them in other ways

now let us sing, and dance, and spring?leap?jump !
