This is a short movie on ICEFALL DOCTORS with the footages of their routine work in the dangerous KHUMBU ICEFALL, a treacherous stretch every climbers have to pass through on their way to Everest Summit.

Legendary Icefall Doctor Late Ang Nima Sherpa explains why and how they were given the title "ICEFALL DOCTORS". He spent more than 40 years on Khumbu Icefall with impeccable safety record and meticulous knack and sense to lead his team to perform the daunting task. Though he never received formal education and mountaineering training, his ability to predict the condition of ICE and when the big blocks and boulders of ICE would collapse was God's gift. What he did was a job he took normal and never cared of fame and glory. He was a true mountaineering giant and a legend whose legacy will remain as long as mountaineering remains as an ultimate adventure with mankind.
